Hindukush & Karakorum Ranges in the northern most of Pakistan are among the world’s highest mountain ranges in the world, are dividing the country from Afghanistan, Central Asia & China.
Historically these mountain ranges were also been used for the silk trade between China and other parts of the world. These areas are rich for their history which traced back to pre-historic time and then the spreading of Buddhist Religion in the world, Alexander The Great, Central Asian & Mughals , British Raj & later Modern Pakistan.
These two mountain ranges are meeting Himalayan range in the Gilgit Baltistan Province and are having worlds more then 48 peaks touching the skies at the altitude on 7000 meters. World’s 2nd highest mountain K2 is among these.
